Project Overview
This building restoration project involved a comprehensive effort to rejuvenate the building’s exterior. The goal was to restore the façade to its original condition by addressing various issues caused by signs and weathering over time. This project aimed to enhance both the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of the building.
Purpose and Objectives
The primary purpose of the project was to partially restore the face of the building, addressing deterioration and damage from historical signage and environmental factors. The objective was to return the building’s facade to its former glory, ensuring durability and visual appeal.
Scope of Work
- Facade Restoration: Repair and restore the building’s facade, including addressing areas affected by historical signage.
- Stone and Brick Repairs: Replace deteriorated stone window headers, patch damaged areas, and match the repairs with new precast sills.
- Surface Preparation and Coating: Clean, coat, and caulk the repaired surfaces to match the original appearance and protect against future deterioration.
- Detailed Craftsmanship: Ensure all repairs are seamlessly integrated with the existing structure to maintain the building’s historical integrity.
